A DRAMA OUTLINE
TITLE: A Long
Dream
AGE LEVEL:
LEVEL 3. Students from 1st and
2nd Year of ESO.
SYNOPSIS:
Two teenagers and their friends go
to a barbacue on the beach. Our two main characters are looking for some wood
for the fire when they suddenly realize they are lost in a nearby forest. Since
then, they are going to have strange and difficult experiences until they find
their friends again but they have to solve a final riddle in order to get home.
CHARACTERS:
Robinson: Robinson is 14 years
old. He is rangy with an afro hairstyle.
Ally: Ally is still 13 years old.
She is slim, with a kind heart and always wears fingerless gloves.
Wolverine: An agressive wolf who
later turns into a gentle one.
Toothless: A furious, evil Red
Dragon with extraordinarly large wings.
Captain Sparrow: A Pirate with an
eye patch, a hook and messy, tangled hair.
Some pirates: They are the
aggressive and loyal pirate crew.
Funny Faun: The faun who helps the
teenagers come back home. He is a little character who is half
goat, half man with horns on his head.
SCENES
SCENE 1: On
the Irish northern coast some friends meet in a forest. They plan to have a
barbacue. Robinson and Ally are looking for some wood when they get lost. They
become terrified and dont know what to do. Wolverine appears behind them and
they begin to run away as fast as they can. Wolverine shouts out to them and
they are so surprised by the fact that he is speaking that they stop running.
They tell him about their situation and the wolf agrees to help them.
SCENE 2
They arrive at the cliffs where they come across Toothless. Immediately, they
do not trust him and begin to run away. The dragon helps them and tells them
they must jump from the cliffs into the dark and freezing water.
SCENE 3 While
they are in the water they are rescued by some pirates who force them to be
slaves on their pirate ship. The Captain, Sparrow, is very cruel to them.
They must scrub the floors, clean the dishes, and cook the food.
SCENE 4
Time passes, and the pirate ship arrives at an Island. The pirates leave their
ship and begin to look for hidden treasure. Robinson and Ally use this
opportunity to escape. They run deep
into jungle and meet Funny Faun.
Now Robinson and Ally must solve a riddle told by the Faun.
What can pass
before the sun without making a shadow?
They enter a laberynth. They
finally find the answer and suddenly a secret door opens with the wind
and they realize it has all been a dream.
